In modern times, Xechariah's alter-ego, William Swanson, is an electrical engineer (Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, 2005). His areas of interest are electronics, software, fine wood-working, and a bit of metal fabrication. William is always involved in too many projects, but his driving belief is that the positive message of Steampunk has the power to make the world a better place.
